Recent workshops in Colorado and Virginia.

Update on the teaching front: I’ve had some really great students. Here are pics from some of my recent workshops.

+ Aerial Grove (from Savor Each Stitch) with the Front Range Modern Quilt Guild.

Probably my favorite thing about teaching is seeing how each student brings their own personality into their project. Working with each student allows me to see my quilts in so many different ways, that each time I leave with many ideas and much inspiration.

Such great variety! So many interesting combinations I wouldn’t have thought of. I find those facing east blocks very striking!

I had a great time in your class! I learned a lot about applique that I didn’t previously know, and I really felt like I had one-on-one learning from you when I needed it. It was a great day, and I am very excited about using the on-the-go applique technique I feel you teach so well! ( I was in the Aerial Grove Quilt class and the lecture the night before with the Front Range Modern Quilt Guild).
