The Tripping Quilt with Jen Kingwell is an around-the-world project that I was lucky enough to work on with Jen Kingwell, Sue Spargo, Anna Maria Horner, Tula Pink and Sew Kind of Wonderful (Jenny Pedigo and Helen Robinson). It all started back in 2020 with each designer creating their own piece of the quilt.
Mine is the orange, red and purple section at the top–you might recognize some Long Leaf shapes in there. The Long Leaf pattern is now updated with a special page for recreating the section. If you’ve already purchased a copy of the pattern, you should have received notice of the update.
Since I was only the second in line to work on this project it was a delight to see it finally together at the end. Helen and Jenny (of Sew Kind of Wonderful) did the incredible quilting, and Jen Kingwell did the binding and photography. What a fun and adventure!
