Wildabon is a collaboration of Carolyn Friedlander’s appliqué and Leah Duncan‘s artistic style. The resulting designs bring Leah’s iconic florals to life. Pattern includes detailed instruction and a large collection of motifs to appliqué on to any project. Part of the Slow Sewing Studio collection.
projects included : 4 quilt sizes (42″-square wholecloth Wall, 40″-square Baby, 40″ x 60″ Sampler, and 60″- square Throw) as well as a set of 20″ pillow shams.
pre-cut friendly : use fat eighths and/or plenty of scraps for your appliqués (I used fabric from my Friedlander lawn and Euclid collections with Robert Kaufman.)
techniques : needle-turn and/or raw edge appliqué, basic embroidery
pattern includes : how-to instructions with illustrations, wholecloth and pieced options depending on quilt size
